The present invention relates to a device for displaceable posts for flatbed trucks which have a roof construction and with controls in the form of a pivotally mounted manually actuable swing arm supported by a respective post between the flatbed and the roof of the truck.
When handling goods from the side on lorries that have long cargo spaces, it is common for the roof structure to bend down, partly due to the dead weight and the weight of the roof structure but also due to external factors such as snow, ice and water that may have accumulated on the roof. When placing the posts that are fastened between the floor and the ceiling, great force is required to lift the roof to its original level.
The main object of the present invention is therefore i.a. to solve the above problems safely and efficiently.
Said means are achieved by means of a device according to the present invention, which is mainly characterized in that the control lever is pivotally mounted at the lower part of said post and is double with each coated portion on each side of said post, the control lever forming a bearing part which increases the strength of the post.
The invention is described below as a preferred embodiment, reference being made to the accompanying drawings, in which Figs. 1 and 2 show in perspective obliquely in front a post with device according to the invention and with the post in load-bearing load layer and in unloaded drop-out layer, and Fig. 3 shows in Magnification the lower part of a post with a fold-out pivotable mounted control swing arm for the post. The main object of the present invention is to have arms for regulating the respective posts Or placed on each side of the post. The said transverse connection 6 also forms retaining means 15 for the said control lever 3 in its raised coupled layer II.
The handle mechanism 19 is formed by pairs of pivotally mounted arms 19A, 19B which are arranged via link means 20 to actuate said locking device for the post 2.
The control lever 3 has a length L which is approximately 20% of the entire length M of the post.
Function and nature of the invention should have been clearly understood from the above and with knowledge. In addition to what is shown in the drawings, the invention is of course not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the accompanying drawings. Modifications Are possible, especially when it comes to the nature of the various parts, or by the use of equivalent techniques, without specifying the scope of the invention as defined in the claims.
